• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who through no fault of their own have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, food, clothing, utilities, medical care, furniture, short-term shelter and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

July 25th meeting

On Saturday, July 25th, 31 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 1 for clothing, 2 for electric, 4 for food, 2 for furniture, 1 for gasoline, 1 for hospital bill, 1 for ID card, 1 for mortgage closing costs, 1 for personal hygiene, 11 for rent, 3 for security deposit, and 5 for shelter.  $8,106.36 was expended to assist clients, 2 were provided furniture, and 10 were referred to other agencies.  16 Board Members and 1 guest were in attendance.

July 18th meeting

On Saturday, July 18th, 17 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance. 1 for bicycle, 1 for cable, 1 for car insurance, 1 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 2 for clothing, 2 for electric, 1 for furniture, 2 for gasoline, 1 for medical equipment, 1 for medical insurance, 6 for rent, 1 for shelter, 2 for telephone, and 1 for trash.  $3,601.98 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided furniture, and 7 were referred to other agencies.  14 Board Members and 1 guest were in attendance.

July 11th meeting

On Saturday, July 11th, 15 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  2 for car repair, 2 for electricity, 1 for food, 4 for furniture, 1 for personal hygiene, 1 for power cord,  3 for rent,  2 for utility gas, and 1 for water.  $2,930.62 was expended to assist clients, 4 were provided furniture, and 6 were referred to other agencies.  17 Board Members were in attendance.

July 4th meeting

On Saturday, July 4th, 14 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for air conditioner, 1 for bicycle repair, 1 for bus pass, 4 for electric, 1 for food, 3 for furniture, 1 for gasoline, 3 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 1 for shelter, 2 for utility gas, and 1 for water.  $2,019.37 was expended to assist clients, 3 were provided furniture, and 3 were referred to other agencies.  19 Board Members were in attendance.

June 27th meeting

On Saturday, June 27th, 21 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for bus ticket, 1 for campground fee, 1 for car repair, 4 for electric, 1 for food, 3 for furniture, 1 for gasoline, 1 for lot rent, 1 for medicine, 1 for mortgage, 6 for rent, 2 for security deposit, 1 for shelter, 2 for telephone, 1 for utility gas, 1 for veteranarian, and 2 for water.  $5,475.81 was expended to assist clients, 3 were provided furniture, and 2 were referred to other agencies.  13 Board Members were in attendance.

June 20th meeting

On Saturday, June 20th, 23 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for a bicycle, 1 for bicycle repair, 1 for car insurance, 2 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 1 for electric, 1 for food, 4 for furniture, 2 for gasoline, 1 for miscellaneous bills, 1 for a refrigerator, 4 for rent, 2 for shelter, 2 for storage, and 2 for water.  $2,445.37 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided a refrigerator, 4 were provided furniture, and 2 were referred to other agencies.  13 Board Members were in attendance.

June 13th meeting

On Saturday, June 13th, 20 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  2 for bicycles, 1 for bicycle repair, 1 for car insurance, 3 for car repair, 1 for electric, 2 for food, 1 for furniture,  4 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 4 for shelter, 1 for taxes, 1 for telephone, and 1 for utility gas.  $1,467.30 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided furniture, and 4 were referred to other agencies.  16 Board Members were in attendance.
