• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who through no fault of their own have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, food, clothing, utilities, medical care, furniture, short-term shelter and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

January 24th meeting

On Saturday, January 24th, 16 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for application fees, 1 for birth certificate, 1 for car payment, 1 for car repair, 2 for electric, 2 for food, 1 for gasoline, 1 for kerosene, 4 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 1 for shelter, 3 for telephone, and 1 for water.  $1,639.31 was expended to assist clients and 1 was referred to another agency.  11 Board Members were in attendance.

January 17th meeting

On Saturday, January 17th, 13 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for a bicycle, 2 for electric, 2 for furniture, 1 for license, 1 for lot rent, 6 for rent, 2 for security deposit, and 1 for utility gas.  $1,986.00 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided a bicycle, 1 was provided furniture, and 4 were referred to other agencies.  24 Board Members were in attendance.

January 10th meeting

On Saturday, January 10th, 21 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for bicycle, 1 for cable, 1 for car repair, 1 for electric, 1 for fines, 1 for food, 3 for furniture, 1 for gasoline, 2 for heating oil, 2 for ID cards, 1 for loan payment, 1 for lot rent, 5 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 1 for shelter, and 1 for telephone.  $3,479.71 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided a bicycle, 2 were provided furniture, and 2 were referred to other agencies.  18 Board Members were in attendance.

January 3rd meeting

On Saturday, January 3rd, 11 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance. 2 for bicycles, 1 for bus pass, 1 for car repair, 2 for furniture, 3 for rent, 2 for security deposit, and 1 for shelter. $605.19 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided a bicycle, 2 were provided furniture and 1 was referred to another agency. 16 Board Members were in attendance.

December 27th meeting

On Saturday, December 27th, 12 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance. 1 for a bicycle, 1 for car repair, 2 for lot rent, 4 for rent, 2 for shelter, and 2 for water. $3,503.66 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided a bicycle, and 2 were referred to other agencies. 16 Board Members and 1 guest were in attendance.

December 20th meeting

On Saturday, December 20th, 15 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance. 1 for bicycle, 4 for car repair, 1 for furniture, 6 for rent, and 4 for security deposit. $2,272.96 was expende to assist clients, 1 was provided a bicycle, and 1 was provided furniture. 21 Board Members and 1 guest were in attendance to assist clients.

December 13th meeting

On Saturday, December 13th, 21 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance. 1 for car insurance, 1 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 1 for electric, 2 for food, 4 for furniture, 1 for gasoline, 1 for lot rent, 10 for rent, 1 for shelter, 1 for telephone, 2 for utility gas, and 1 for water. $4,076.28 was expended to assist clients, 4 were provided furniture, and 5 were referred to other agencies. 20 Board Members were in attendance.
