• About Samaritan Fellowship

Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

Client Assistance in-person ONLY beginning June 12, 2021

Beginning Saturday June 12, 2021, Samaritan Fellowship will resume holding in-person interviews at the new Carlisle United Methodist Church (CUMC) facility located at 333 Spring Garden Street (just past the Giant store on Spring Garden).  Clients should arrive between 7:45 AM – 10 AM on Saturday morning for their interview that day.

Clients should follow the signs along the entrance road which will direct them to the “Community Groups” section of the facility located to the right of the main entrance to the CUMC Worship Center.  At this time we will require all clients to wear masks upon entry into the church and during the interview.  We also ask that only the client seeking assistance comes to the interview.  Any accompanying family or friends will have to wait outside the facility as there is no way to accommodate extra persons at this time.  Thank you!

We will no longer conduct interviews by telephone as a regular part of our assistance process.
