• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

September 14th meeting

On Saturday, September 14th, 22 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  3 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 5 for electric, 1 for utility- gas, 1 for food, 1 for employment clearances, 9 for rent, 3 for shelter, and 1 for child care application fee, 1 for water heater.  $6042.45 was expended to assist clients and 1 was referred to another agency.  12 Board Members and one guest were in attendance.

September 7 meeting

On Saturday, September 7, 18 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance: 1 for car repair, 4 for electric, 3 for propane, 7 for rent, 2 for water, 1 for car payment, 1 for physical, 1 for ID, 1 for bus ticket, 1 for mortgage, 1 for internet. $4694.89 was expended to assist clients and 4 were referred to other agencies.  20 Board Members were in attendance.

August 31 Meeting

On Saturday, August 31st, 14 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance: 1 for car repair, 3 for electric, 1 for gasoline, 6 for rent, 1 for water, 3 for shelter, 1 for car payment, 1 for gasoline, 1 for medication. $3732.45 was expended to assist clients and 4 were referred to other agencies.  20 Board Members were in attendance.

August 24th meeting

On Saturday, August 24th, 16 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance: 1 for car repair, 2 for clothing, 2 for food, 1 for electric, 2 for gasoline, 8 for rent, 1 for water, 3 for shelter, 1 for car insurance, 1 for appliance, 1 for fine, 1 for child care, 1 for driver’s license. $3200.25 was expended to assist clients and 2 were referred to other agencies.  17 Board Members were in attendance.

December 22nd meeting

On Saturday, December 22nd, 13 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car insurance, 1 for car payment, 1 for child care, 1 for clothing, 1 for electric, 1 for furniture, 1 for home repair, 1 for lot rent, 1 for personal hygiene, 5 for rent, 2 for shelter, 1 for telephone, and 1 for water.  $3,536.45 was expended to assist clients and 2 were referred to other agencies.  17 Board Members were in attendance.

November 4th meeting

On Saturday, November 4th, 22 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car payment, 1 for car repair, 3 for electric, 1 for food, 2 for gasoline, 1 for lot rent, 12 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 4 for shelter, 1 for truck rental, and 1 for water.  $7,188.57 was expended to assist clients and 4 were referred to other agencies.  19 Board Members were in attendance.
