• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

February 16th meeting

On Saturday, February 16th, 14 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car repair, 1 for electric, 1 for furniture, 5 for rent, 1 for security deposit, and 6 for shelter.  $4,482,43 was expended to assist clients and 6 were referred to other agencies.  18 Board Members and 1 guest were in attendance.

February 9th meeting

On Saturday, February 9th, 11 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for bicycle, 1 for car insurance, 1 for fines, 1 for lot rent, 4 for rent, 3 for security deposit, and 2 for shelter.  $3,862.00 was expended to assist clients and 2 were referred to other agencies.  14 Board Members were in attendance.

February 2nd meeting

On Saturday, February 2nd, 14 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car repair, 1 for clothing, 1 for food, 2 for furniture, 2 for heating oil, 6 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 1 for shelter, 1 for telephone, and 3 for water. $4,510.47 was expended to assist clients and 6 were referred to other agencies.  11 Board Members were in attendance.

January 26th meeting

On Saturday, January 26th, 24 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  2 for car insurance, 1 for car payment, 1 for car purchase, 2 for electric, 3 for fines, 2 for food, 4 for gasoline, 1 for handicapped placard, 1 for home repair, 1 for ID, 1 for medical test, 4 for rent, 3 for security deposit, 5 for shelter, and 1 for utility gas.  $7,728.91 was expended to assist clients and 3 were referred to other agencies.  20 Board Members were in attendance.

January 19th meeting

On Saturday, January 19th, 25 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car payment, 1 for clothing, 1 for diapers, 1 for driver’s license, 1 for electric, 1 for food, 1 for gasoline, 1 for glasses, 7 for rent, 3 for security deposit, 9 for shelter, 1 for train ticket, and 1 for water.  $5,945.53 was expended to assist clients and 5 were referred to other agencies.  14 Board Members were in attendance.

January 12th meeting

On Saturday, January 12th, 19 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for bus ticket, 1 for car repair, 3 for electric, 1 for fine, 2 for food, 1 for gasoline, 1 for medical prescription, 2 for rent, 11 for shelter, and 1 for utility gas.  $5,725.48 was expended to assist clients and 3 were referred to other agencies.  17 Board Members were in attendance.

January 5th meeting

On Saturday, January 5th, 16 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car repair, 5 for electric, 1 for home repair, 1 for lot rent, 1 for medical prescription, 6 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 2 for shelter, 1 for utility gas, and 2 for water.  $4,866.68 was expended to assist clients and 4 were referred to other agencies.  16 Board Members were in attendance.
