• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

December 30th Interviews

On Saturday, December 30th, 12 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Fellowship stewards and Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. The needs presented were 1 for car payment, 1 for car insurance, 7 for rent, 1 for shelter,1 for roof repairs and 1 for utilities.  $3,636.03 was expended to assist clients. 

December 23rd Interviews

 On Saturday, December 23rd, 7 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Fellowship stewards and Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. The needs presented were 1 for car repair, 2 for car insurance, 2 for rent, and 1 for shelter.  $876.16 was expended to assist clients. 

December 16th Interviews

On Saturday, December 16th, 21 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Fellowship stewards and Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. The needs presented were 2 for car payment, 2 for car insurance, 12 for rent, and 5 for utilities.  $4,677.05 was expended to assist clients. 

September 26th interviews

On Saturday, September 26th, 15 clients were interviewed by telephone by Samaritan Board members.  The needs presented were 1 for bus ticket, 1 for cable TV, 1 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 1 for credit card payment, 1 for electric, 7 for rent (includes 1 eviction), and 1 for shelter.  $5,749.48 was expended to assist clients.

September 19th interviews

On Saturday, September 19th, 12 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Fellowship Board members by telephone.  The needs presented were 1 for car registration, 1 for car repair, 1 for electric, 1 for property tax, 6 for rent (3 with evictions), 2 for shelter, and 1 for work shoes.  $7,191.00 was expended to assist clients.

September 12th interviews

On Saturday, September 12th, 22 clients were interviewed by telephone by Samaritan Fellowship Board members.  The needs presented were 2 for car payment, 2 for car repair, 1 for child support, 1 for education assistance, 1 for electric, 1 for library card fee, 1 for mail box rental, 1 for moving costs, 9 for rent (6 with eviction notices), and 4 for shelter.  $21,189.20 was expended to assist clients

September 5th interviews

On Saturday, September 5th, 7 clients were interviewed via telephone by Samaritan Fellowship Board members.  The needs presented were 2 for car repair, 1 for education, 1 for home repair, and 3 for rent.  $3,424.00 was expended to assist clients and 1 was referred to another agency.

August 29th interviews

On Saturday, August 29th, 12 clients were interviewed by phone by Samaritan Fellowship Board members.  The needs presented were 1 for Cable bill, 1 for car insurance, 1 for car repair, 1 for electricity, 1 for home repair, 4 for rent, and 3 for shelter.  $5,042.93 was expended to assist clients.

August 22nd Interviews

On Saturday, August 22nd, 16 clients were interviewed by phone by Samaritan Fellowship Board members.  The needs presented were 1 for cable, 1 for car insurance, 1 for car repair, 1 for electric, 1 for miscellaneous, 9 for rent, 2 for shelter, and 2 for property taxes.  $4,263.64 was expended to assist clients.

August 15th interviews

On Saturday, August 15th, 8 clients were interviewed by members of Samaritan Fellowship.  The needs presented were 1 for bike repair, 1 for car repair, 4 for rent, and 2 for shelter.  $2,805.00 was expended to assist clients.
