Since 1958, Samaritan Fellowship, a Carlisle nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.
On Saturday, April 4th, Samaritan Fellowship conducted 6 telephone interviews with clients. The needs presented were 1 for furniture, 1 for mortgage, 3 for shelter, and 1 for water. $2,070.66 was expended to assist clients

On Saturday, March 28th, Samaritan Fellowship conducted phone interviews with 3 clients to determine how we could be of assistance. Needs presented were 1 for rent, 1 for shelter, and 1 for water. $932.77 was expended to assist clients.

On Saturday, March 21st, Samaritan Fellowship conducted phone interviews of 10 clients to determine how we could be of assistance. Client needs were 1 for fines, 2 for home repair, 2 for rent, 4 for shelter, and 1 for storage. $3,125.00 was expended to assist clients.

Due to the Coronavirus emergency, Samaritan Fellowship has discontinued in person meetings with clients. A sign will be posted on the parking lot door of the church on Saturday mornings advising clients of how to arrange for a telephone interview with a Samaritan member to hear their needs. We recognize that our clients are among the most vulnerable of our community as to the financial impact of this emergency and we are anxious to continue our service to them.
