    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

April 25th interviews

On Saturday, April 25th, 13 clients were interviewed by phone to discuss their needs.  The needs presented were 1 for car repair, 3 for electric, 6 for rent, 1 for security deposit, and 3 for shelter.  $3,592.24 was expended to assist clients and 3 were referred to other agencies.

April 18th interviews

On Saturday, April 18th, 5 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Fellowship to discuss their needs.  The needs presented were 3 for rent, 1 for shelter, and 1 for utility gas.  $1,230.00 was expended to assist clients and 3 were referred to other agencies.

April 11th Interviews

During the COVID 19 emergency, Samaritan Fellowship has discontinued in-person interviews. On Saturday morning,between 7:00AM and 11:00AM, please call 717-579-6697 to schedule a telephone interview  Phone interviews will be conducted on Saturday mornings only.

On Saturday, April 11th, Samaritan Fellowship conducted interviews of 9 clients.  The needs presented were 2 for electricity, 1 for lot rent, 3 for rent, and 4 for shelter.  $3,970.98 was expended to assist clients and there were 3 referrals to other agencies.

April 4th meeting

On Saturday, April 4th, Samaritan Fellowship conducted 6 telephone interviews with clients.  The needs presented were 1 for furniture, 1 for mortgage, 3 for shelter, and 1 for water.  $2,070.66 was expended to assist clients

March 28th interviews

On Saturday, March 28th, Samaritan Fellowship conducted phone interviews with 3 clients to determine how we could be of assistance.  Needs presented were 1 for rent, 1 for shelter, and 1 for water.  $932.77 was expended to assist clients.

March 21st clients

On Saturday, March 21st, Samaritan Fellowship conducted phone interviews of 10 clients to determine how we could be of assistance.  Client needs were 1 for fines, 2 for home repair, 2 for rent, 4 for shelter, and 1 for storage.  $3,125.00 was expended to assist clients.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Due to the Coronavirus emergency, Samaritan Fellowship has discontinued in person meetings with clients.  A sign will be posted on the parking lot door of the church on Saturday mornings advising clients of how to arrange for a telephone interview with a Samaritan member to hear their needs.  We recognize that our clients are among the most vulnerable of our community as to the financial impact of this emergency and we are anxious to continue our service to them.

March 14th meeting

On Saturday, March 14th, 13 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car insurance, 2 for electric, 1 for medicine, 4 for rent, and 6 for shelter.  $2,848.80 was expended to assist clients.  13 Board Members were in attendance.

March 7th meeting

On Saturday, March 7th, 7 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car repair, 1 for electric, 1 for food, 1 for license, 2 for rent, 1 for security deposit, 1 for storage, and 1 for traffic citation.  $1,102.20 was expended to assist clients.  18 Board Members and 1 guest were in attendance.
