• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

November 26th interviews

On Saturday, November 26th, 13 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. The needs presented were 2 for car payment, 1 for electric, 1 for lot rent, 6 for rent, 1 for shelter, and 3 for water. $5,987.62 was expended to assist clients.

November 19th interviews

On Saturday, November 19th, 14 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. The needs presented were 1 for baby supplies, 1 for car insurance, 2 for car payment, 1 for car repair, 2 for electric, and 8 for rent. $6,371.05 was expended to assist clients.

November 12th interviews

On Saturday, November 12th, 10 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church.

The needs presented were 4 for car payment, 1 for car repair, 4 for electric, 1 for food, 1 for gasoline, 1 for lot rent, 2 for rent, and

1 for storage. $2,211.84 was expended to assist clients.

November 5th interviews

On Saturday, November 5th, 13 clients were interviewed by Samaritan Board members at the Carlisle United Methodist Church. The needs presented were 1 for car insurance, 4 for car payment, 1 for car repair, 2 for electric, 1 for Penn DOT fees, 6 for rent, and 1 for shelter. $5,134.28 was expended to assist clients.
