• About Samaritan Fellowship

    Since 1958, the Samaritan Fellowship, a nonprofit ministry, has strived to carry out the Lord’s admonition to help our neighbor. Our purpose is to help those who have exhausted every available means for providing adequate shelter, utilities, medical care, fuel, vehicle repair, short-term shelter, food, clothing, and other emergency services. We serve families living in the Carlisle Area School District, South Middleton School District, and Middlesex Township.

September 22nd meeting

On Saturday, September 22nd, 22 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for application fee, 1 for bicycle, 1 for cable, 1 for clothing, 4 for electric, 1 for food, 3 for gasoline, 1 for lot rent, 2 for mortgage, 1 for phone, 6 for rent, 2 for shelter, and 1 for water.  $3,284.20 was expended to assist clients, 1 was provided bicycle, and 2 were referred to other agencies.  20 board members and 2 guests were in attendance.

August 25th meeting

On Saturday, August 25th, 21 clients appeared at Samaritan Fellowship for assistance.  1 for car insurance, 1 for car repair, 4 for electric, 2 for food, 4 for furniture, 2 for gasoline, 1 for personal hygiene, 9 for rent, 4 for security deposit, 1 for utility gas, and 1 for water.  $5,014.91 was expended to aid clients and 4 were provided furniture.  19 Board Members were in attendance.
